Chris, a Seattle native and Capitol Hill resident, manages all internal aspects of the firm, including new project development, marketing, hiring, and community relations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington.

Ryan Stephenson

Ryan is co-owner and design principal at Elemental Design LLC. Before moving to Seattle, he earned a professional degree in Architecture, with honors, from Auburn University and the internationally celebrated Rural Studio Design Build thesis program.

Kelly McConnaha

Kelly earned her M.Arch from the University of Virginia and her B.A. in Fine Arts and Art History from the University of Iowa. She was a project manager for The Learning Barge, a sustainable education project on Chesapeake Bay and worked on residential and commercial projects in Los Angeles.

John Outterson

John received his B.Arch from Washington State University in 2002, after earning a B.A. in Sociology from Northland College in Ashland, WI. John’s experience in several Seattle firms covers a spectrum of public, commercial, high-end residential, and historic preservation projects.

 

Brandon Patterson

Brandon holds a B.S. in Architectural Studies from Washington State University and a M.Arch from the Interdisciplinary Institute at WSU. As an Intern at Elemental Design, Brandon manages architectural visualizations, digital modeling, and the myriad miscellaneous tasks that arise at an architecture firm.

Daniel Stewart

Daniel received his M.Arch degree from the University of Colorado at Denver. He has seven years of experience in all aspects of architectural design. Daniel is specifically interested in combining sustainable, practical design solutions with a clean and modern aesthetic.
